The Hangzhou Century Center is one of the important supporting projects for the Hangzhou Asian Games. The biggest challenge of this project is the construction of the connecting part between the twin towers . The saddle shaped suspended roof and arched steel bridge between the twin towers have a maximum height of 103 meters and a maximum span of 80 meters. The ingenious suspended grid steel structure system has created a "well-known flexible suspended roof in Asia" and has been highly praised by all parties . This structural form is the first of its kind in China and has no precedent internationally.
